Job Summary
A privately-held employment-related search engine has an open position for a Remote Enterprise Platform Senior Backend Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Design and build best-in-class APIs that abstract away complexities from other developers
- Develop backend software applications
- Take initiative to understand, measure, and solve the most important business problems with holistic and sustainable solutions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing software for large scale distributed systems running in Java
- Experience with API design in various protocols (gRPC, REST, GraphQL, etc.)
- Experience with a breadth of backend architecture principles and technologies
- Experience with a breadth of data platforms such as MySQL, Elastic Search, and Spark
