Job Summary

A marketing services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Enterprise SaaS Rails Software Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing technical mentorship, code reviews, and technical project leadership for your team
  • Working across teams to architect and implement solutions to challenging problems
  • Identifying and driving the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and design patterns across the department

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of Software Development experience in a SaaS environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Test Driven Development, Distributed Systems, and MVC design
  • Previous experience building SaaS applications, working closely with Product Management in a continuous deployment environment
  • Experience mentoring software engineers
  • A desire to create elegant, scalable, and maintainable tools and solutions
  • Experience with our core technologies: Ruby + Rails (or similar), MySQL/PostgreSQL, Kafka (or similar stream-processing software), and JavaScript
