Job Summary
A non-profit environmental protection organization is filling a position for a Remote Environmental Protection Grants and Finance Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Develop fiscal year and funder budget forecasts on a yearly basis in coordination with operations and program directors
- Review, update, and monitor all transactions, commitments, and revenue prospects for team projects
- Update and maintain project budgets utilizing WRI’s budgeting and forecasting software (TM1)
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, public policy, political science, non-profit management, or similar subject
- 3-5 years full-time relevant work experience in financial management, budgeting, administration, nonprofit operations or a related
- Proven experience organizing/managing detailed/complex budgeting structures, donor reporting and/or grant or financial management
- You have experience with oral and written communication, working with international teams or projects
- You have experience using Microsoft Office
- You have experience handling multiple projects with varying deadlines as well as rapidly changing priorities
