Job Summary

A software developer is seeking a Remote Environmental Technology Laboratory Principal Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Influencing design and refactoring of code for quality, extensibility, resilience, reliability, and performance
  • Unblocking technical impediments, estimate scope, coordinate resources, track progress while inspiring your teammates
  • Collaborating with product management, business customers, architecture/platform team, data operations, and other service development teams

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a multi-platform environment
  • Software development experience, specifically in ETL automation
  • Engage in paired programming, BDD/TDD, peer reviews, and agile best practices
  • Ability to apply software best practices for ensuring quality software solutions
  • Ability to provide direction to others in analyzing and solving program and system issues and problems
  • Collaborate effectively with architecture/platform teams and other service development teams
