Job Summary
A recruiting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Environmental Testing Business Development Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Initiating and developing long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Managing a territory to increase revenue and provide consistent customer service and solutions
- Building relationships with agricultural, environmental, chemical, and consumer product companies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be willing to spend time in the field making client visits and cold calls
- Must live in Midwest or on East Coast
- Experience selling other CRO services will also be taken under consideration, even if selling to pharma/biotech industries
- 4+ years sales experience in a directly relevant setting selling analytical testing services
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline or business focus
- Experience with Strategic Account Management, ideally within the Environmental testing space
