A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Epidemiology Case Investigator in Charlottesville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Gather information about symptoms and exposures
- Identify others with whom the case has been in contact with while potentially infectious
- Communicate with contacts in a professional and empathic manner
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- Knowledge of public health practices, communicable diseases, disease control, and epidemiologic methods
- Ability to work with a variety of computer software packages
- An understanding of patient confidentiality
