Job Summary
A staffing and recruitment agency is seeking a Remote Epidemiology Case Investigator in Prince William.
Must be able to:
- Communicate with Contacts in a professional and empathic manner
- Gather information about symptoms, exposures, and identify others with whom the Case has been in contact with while potentially infectious
- Ascertain whether a Case is part of a high risk of transmission or severe disease group
Qualifications for this position include:
- Knowledge of public health practices, communicable diseases, disease control, and epidemiologic methods
- Bachelor’s degree with major course work in public health, epidemiology, a related field
- Excellent and sensitive interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, and interviewing skills to build and maintain trust with interviewees
- Ability to manage, compile, analyze, and present data
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences - both orally and in writing
