Job Summary
Tobacco consulting company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Epidemiology Quantitative Methods Senior Scientist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Contributing to the design and execution of population-level research studies
- Applying established scientific principles to conduct secondary analyses of large national survey data sets
- Contributing directly to FDA and external scientific engagement through written FDA responses, presentations, and publications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with extensive experience in Epidemiology, Quantitative Methods, Survey Methods and Statistics, Experimental or Quantitative Psychology, or related fields
- Proficient in SAS, Stata, or R data analysis packages
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience designing and conducting epidemiological investigations
- Strong quantitative research and survey design knowledge
