Job Summary
This position can be fully remote; based in the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast.
The ERP Business Analyst - Finance will provide functional oversight and guidance on all ERP project and support activities in the area of Finance. This individual will work with business executives and end-users to get aligned on business requirements and the proposed IT solutions. The Finance ERP Business Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and the support of the IT solutions. Direct and monitors production activities to achieve daily schedule attainment for the manufacturing of products
Contribute to the configuration of PLEX Finance & Operations during the ERP implementation project and provide on-going ERP support with a strong focus on the area of Finance.
Gather Finance business requirements and translate requirements into IT solutions related to ERP system implementations and support services.
Analyze PLEX Finance & Operations modules (Finance-related) current state (As-Is) setup, identify any gaps and propose future state (To-Be).
Support the set-up of application integrations between PLEX FINANCE & OPERATIONS and third-party applications.
Be the gatekeeper for the company to make sure the organization is applying best practices and industry standards.
Provide post go-live support for all assigned PLEX Finance & Operations modules.
Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel in IT and Finance at Corporate or in operating companies.
Create user and functional documentation, test plans, test cases, and perform functional testing.
Document Business processes as required.
Provide functional and technical expertise to IT and departmental team members
Identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements and
developments and liaising with appropriate vendors, users and the IT Team.
Assist when required in the IT Helpdesk Analyst function in application or architecture support.
Manage workload effectively to ensure incidents are recorded, updated and resolved in line with priorities
Identify problems through analysis of applications
Identify continual service improvement initiatives
Provide training to all stakeholders
Skills & Attributes:
Minimum of five plus years ERP Finance & Operations experience
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience building and managing budgets and improving costs
Ability to define problems, measure/collect data, establish facts and analyze data, select and implement solutions and control/sustain outcomes.
Data driven and capable of critical thinking to make solid decisions
Knowledge of Microsoft products and Plex ERP (MRP) system will be helpful.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills
Bi-lingual language skill preferred, German or Mandarin
Experience in a global, medium-sized business environment preferred; manufacturing experience required
Global ERP implementation experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%
Education:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college and 5 or more years of experience in PLEX Finance & Operations, (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
