Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Escalation Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Delivering remote technical support to the company's product portfolio
  • Remote triage, investigation, identification and resolution of incidents
  • Represent company on conference calls, with customers, to provide technical input

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret US Goverment clearance
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in a technical support position
  • Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Knowledge of IPVPN, IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP and IPSec networking protocols
  • Working knowledge of routing protocols and understanding of TCP.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux/Microsoft
