Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Escalation Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering remote technical support to the company's product portfolio
- Remote triage, investigation, identification and resolution of incidents
- Represent company on conference calls, with customers, to provide technical input
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must possess an active Top Secret US Goverment clearance
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in a technical support position
- Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Knowledge of IPVPN, IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP and IPSec networking protocols
- Working knowledge of routing protocols and understanding of TCP.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux/Microsoft
