Job Summary
An Internet privacy company is filling a position for a Remote European Compliance and Policy Associate General Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Play a key role in supporting our policy efforts across Europe
- Coordinate regulatory compliance in Europe
- Support engagement with data protection authorities to help us comply
Qualifications for this position include:
- 10+ years of experience working in European policy, legal, or government settings
- A demonstrated familiarity with EU public policy and relevant administrative processes
- Qualification to practice law within the EU and experience providing advice in several European jurisdictions
- Familiarity with the policy and regulatory environments in Europe surrounding Internet technologies
- A demonstrated ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical and regulatory issues
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with regulators and external counsel
