Job Summary
A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Evaluation and Management Coder in Houston.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Determining appropriate level of service utilizing Evaluation and Management Coding principles
- Performing clinical coverage review of CPT and HCPCS coded claims
- Serving as a clinical resource to other areas within the clinical investigative team
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of recent E/M coding experience (entering codes, auditing etc)
- Experience with and ability to work independently with technology
- Current coding certification (CPC/CCS/RHIT etc)
