Job Summary

A political non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Events Procurement Category Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Play an integral role in the development of multi-year global category plans and strategies across virtual and physical event production categories and subcategories
  • Develop of should cost and total cost of ownership models for the category and ensure the alignment of category plans and strategies to business priorities and functional objectives
  • Support the management of partnerships with key budget owners, PA/Functional stakeholders, and strategic suppliers

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management, Finance, a business/relevant area degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in category strategy development and/or strategic sourcing within events
  • 7 years of experience in business and 5 years of experience in multi-disciplined procurement
