Job Summary
Role: Remote Executive Assistant / Virtual Assistant
Budget: $16-$18/hr, as a 1099 contractor
I'm a small business owner looking for the next awesome person to partner with on a very part-time but growing basis.
I partner with US- or Canadian-based contractors who meet the following criteria:
- Min. 1 full year as an exec assistant or VA. *Contractors without this will not be considered.
- Flexible availability to work on client requests during business hours, 9-5pm (PT or ET)
- Fast internet connection, good pc, webcam, smart phone
- Critical thinker, positive energy, proactive nature, assertive and independent by nature
- Calm and focused in the midst of chaos - it gets busy!
- Strong problem solving skills. If you don't know it, you'll figure it out.
- Exceptional communication skills: Strong verbal, writing, grammar and spelling skills
- Personality for polished customer service and providing a phenomenal client experience
- You live for organizing the details. *If you are not a details person, you will not excel in this role.
Note: You need to be in the position where you can take your time in building your income, vs. trying to support yourself entirely with this job.
My VA's are paired 1:1 with clients to lessen their load, help free up their time and allow them to focus on the things that matter most to them. They handle a variety of administrative tasks ranging from scheduling and calendar management, inbox management, to travel arrangements and research. Think: finding the best new tech gadgets, booking flights and making hotel reservations, scheduling an appointment at the dentist, scheduling meetings between high-level executives. They do this with polished professionalism and go out of their way to go above and beyond on even the simplest of tasks.
This is a great role for mature college students, military spouses or the stay-at-home parent whose kids have started school. You'll have the freedom to decide when and where you work, while doing whatever it takes to give your clients an exceptional, first-rate experience.
