Job Summary
A non-profit health care company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Executive Payroll Director in Milwaukee.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and driving the strategic direction and operations of the system-wide payroll function for the organization
- Providing strategic direction & overseeing payroll, time & attendance & payroll compliance operating models
- Developing, updating & implementing system-wide policies & procedures to improve efficiency & effectiveness of payroll process
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 10 years of experience in payroll leadership at a large, complex organization (employee population 75,000+)
- 5 years of management experience in building, leading and growing high performance payroll teams
- Advanced knowledge of payroll operations, payroll tax processing procedures and reporting, and payroll accounting
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead large multi-functional teams
- Strong relationship building skills required
