Job Summary

An insurance company has a current position open for a Remote External Reporting Quality Assurance Director in San Antonio.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading the performance, independent validation and enhancement of external reporting data integrity
• Performing periodic reviews of regulatory filings
• Evaluating the effectiveness of procedures and controls

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related discipline or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum
• Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in quality assurance in financial reporting
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in quality assurance or quality improvement
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct team lead or management
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory laws and best practices
