An insurance company has a current position open for a Remote External Reporting Quality Assurance Director in San Antonio.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading the performance, independent validation and enhancement of external reporting data integrity
- Performing periodic reviews of regulatory filings
- Evaluating the effectiveness of procedures and controls
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or related discipline or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum
- Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in quality assurance in financial reporting
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in quality assurance or quality improvement
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct team lead or management
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory laws and best practices
