Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Facility Coding Edits Representative.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Understand the Medicare Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) codes
• Adhere to the ethical standards of coding as established by AAPC and/or AHIMA
• Adhere to and maintain required levels of performance in both coding quality and productivity

Qualifications for this position include:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Professional coder certification with credentialing from AHIMA and/or AAPC (ROCC, CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS)
• 2+ years of Outpatient Facility coding experience
• ICD-10 experience
• Experience with LCD, NCD, Medical Necessity, Modifier Edits
• Knowledge of OCE, MUE and NCCI classification and reimbursement structures
