Job Summary

A consulting firm is seeking a Remote Facility Inpatient Coder.

Must be able to:

• Review medical records to identify diagnosis and procedures
• Review DRG discrepancies
• Accurately enter data into client software and/or Excel reports

Position Requirements Include:

• 5+ years’ experience required of facility inpatient coding for facility medical services for ALL Specialties
• Certified coder with valid CCS, CPC-H, RHIT, or RHIA Certification
• Advanced technical knowledge in all surgical and medical specialties
• Strong experience using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS level 2 coding classification systems
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience in researching and applying coding rules and regulations
