Job Summary
A manufacturing company is filling a position for a Remote Factory Automation Sales Engineer in the Houston Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Prospecting for potential customers through various direct and indirect methods
- Developing target account plans outlining sales strategy specific for each account
- Quickly establishing relationships with target accounts and developing sales opportunities
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel primarily within territory
- 4 year Engineering Degree (BSEE, BSME) or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years OEM sales experience, prefer minimum 3 years’ experience as a Hunter
- Minimum of 3-5 years Solution Sales experience at OEM customers in the territory
- Product knowledge/application experience in PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo/Motion products
- Excellent track record developing large PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo/Motion OEMs
