Job Summary
An educational company has a current position open for a Remote Family Academic Support Liaison.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working with the school staff to present school-level academic events, parent workshops and other activities
- Promoting the importance of communication between teachers and parents on an ongoing basis
- Providing 1:1 guidance and support for parents who have students experiencing academic difficulty
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel 20% of time for meetings, professional development, etc +must reside in Northern Louisiana (weekly travel required in Monroe and Shreveport)
- Computer Software: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Web proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree
- Be in excellent standing with Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy
- Working knowledge of Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy and K12
