Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company has an open position for a Remote Family Medicine Appeals and Grievances Medical Director.

Must be able to:

• Perform individual case review for appeals and grievances
• Perform Department of Insurance/Department of Managed Healthcare
• Provide clinical and strategic input

Position Requirements Include:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license
• Board Certified in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience
• Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with managed care
• 2+ years of Quality Management experience
• Data analysis and interpretation skills
