Job Summary

A health services company is seeking a Remote Family Medicine Associate Medical Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide timely expert medical review for requests to evaluate the medical necessity of services
  • Provide timely peer-to-peer discussions with referring physicians to clarify clinical information
  • Document all actions related to clinical review sessions

Position Requirements Include:

  • M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
  • Recent practice experience in direct patient care
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • Familiarity with automated processes and computer applications and systems is required
