Job Summary
A company that provides holistic legal and humanitarian support to refugees, deportees, and other migrants is in need of a Remote Family Reunification Project Pro Bono Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Recruiting and mentoring pro bono attorneys in their representation of reunified families
- Working with partner organizations to develop training sessions for pro bono attorneys and volunteers assisting reunited families
- Working with the Managing Attorney to review cases for acceptance, provide guidance to case managers, and advocate for separated families at the policy level
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Juris Doctorate & active state bar license
- 4+ years of immigration law experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Spanish language proficiency
- Strong case management skills
- Strong communication skills, self-directed and self-reliant, highly organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
