Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote FedRamp Security Operations Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing security expertise and guidance to a set of Cloud and Delivery teams
  • Being responsible for Web application firewall and related prevention, detection and mitigation of DDoS attack
  • Performing regular firewall audits in line with our procedure

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 2 years IT security principles, security operations, techniques, and technologies
  • Requirement to carry out role duties on a second shift per 4:00 pm - 12:00 am CST
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Linux/Unix command line interfaces
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with industry standard configuration management
  • Experience in a current programming language
  • Advanced knowledge of containerization concepts and Kubernetes
