Job Summary
A risk management company has a current position open for a Remote Medical Case Manager.
Must be able to:
- Manage one-time task assignment or full field case management
- Assess and analyzes injured worker's medical and vocational status
- Attend medical appointments with an injured worker
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to attend medical appointments and complete interviews in person
- 3+ years of diverse clinical experience in caring for the acutely ill patients with multiple disease conditions
- 3+ years of Managed Care and/or Worker’s Compensation experience
- Knowledge of utilization management, quality improvement, discharge planning, and cost management
- Current, unrestricted RN license required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
