Remote Finance Derivative Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Investment Accounting Lead Finance Derivative Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investment accounting activities related to derivative instruments and perform hedge effectiveness testing
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for derivatives in compliance with US GAAP and Statutory accounting
• Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and mentor other analysts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, particularly in investment accounting and derivative instruments
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced statistical and regression-based analyses
• Proficiency in analytical tools, including advanced Excel and at least one statistical or data analysis tool
• Solid understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles
