Job Summary
A silo-busting collaboration of governments, companies, technologists and civil society that works to open up public contracting is in need of a Remote Finance Head.
Must be able to:
- Partner with the management team to define and then lead on executing a financial strategy that supports organizational vision and goals
- Lead our spin off process from our fiscal sponsor, including researching and setting up financial, operational and payroll processes
- Ensure that all our activities are conducted in an environment that supports our mission and safeguards our assets
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong track record of working in public accounting
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Previous finance, operations (including grants management)
- Ability to effectively partner with colleagues from diverse professional background
