Job Summary

Providing essential support to students, the part-time Remote Financial Aid Advisor will assist with navigating the financial aid process, including FAFSA completion and eligibility reviews, while working independently in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on financial aid eligibility, application requirements, and available funding options
• Review financial aid applications for accuracy and completeness, identifying any missing documentation
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate professionally with students through various remote methods

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous financial aid experience in a postsecondary institution strongly preferred
• Knowledge of FAFSA and federal student aid programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn financial aid systems
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work
