Job Summary

A financial and insurance services company is seeking a Remote Financial and Insurance Services Senior Procurement and Vendor Management Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Recommending and implementing category procurement and commodity sourcing strategies to achieve strategic plans
  • Leading cross functional teams to develop and execute local or global strategies covering categories and commodities
  • Executing sourcing activities including developing RFx proposals, evaluating and recommending best available options, ect

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor in business administration, operations management, or other directly applicable field or equivalent education/experience
  • 5 years of experience in category procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract development / management
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
  • Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work effectively and cultivate strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization and with external parties
  • Ability to work with teams across geographically dispersed locations
