Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Financial Assistant Controller in Defiance.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in implementation of any new accounting pronouncements
- Assisting in the preparation of select management and board of directors reporting
- Accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations
Qualifications for this position include:
- Currently 100% remote and will switch back to an office environment when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted
- Minimum 7 years experience in accounting or finance field, including management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to research generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory guidance
- Ability to effectively present to the Board and Executive Management Team
- Strong knowledge of theory, standards, and principles of accounting and their application to bank situations
