Job Summary
A privately-held financial-services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Financial Associate Actuary.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Improving processes related to valuation
- Preparing and reviewing SOX controls
- Providing guidance and review for calculation of Stat, Tax, and GAAP reserves
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years of experience as an actuary within the insurance industry
- Excellent spreadsheet and technical skills
- Ability to learn new software
- Analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently or on a team
