Remote Financial Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Controller - Fully Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including accurate financial statement preparation
• Oversee general ledger activities, accounts payable, and vendor management to ensure compliance and timely payments
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with the CEO, while improving financial systems and internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
• Experience in a hard goods, physical products, or B2B distribution business
• Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling and data analysis
