Remote Financial Educator

Job Summary

Consulting with patients on their benefits and financial options, the full-time Remote Financial Educator will perform benefit verification, provide ongoing financial education, and maintain patient accounts while working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
• Perform benefit verification and prior authorization tasks
• Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients throughout their care journey

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
• Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
