Remote Financial Educator

Job Summary

Providing financial education and support, the full-time Remote Financial Educator will consult with patients on benefits and financial options, perform benefit verifications, and maintain patient accounts while working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
• Perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorization
• Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients throughout their care continuum

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
• Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience working in an OB/GYN office is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
