Remote Financial Educator

Job Summary

Providing financial guidance to patients, the full-time Remote Financial Educator will consult on benefits and coverage, perform benefit verification, and maintain patient accounts while supporting individuals throughout their care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
• Perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorization
• Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients as an educator and liaison

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and patient interaction
• Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
