Job Summary
A consulting firm is seeking a Remote Financial Instruments and Technology Cloud DevOps Automation Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Help lead FIT's move into next-generation cloud-based application architectures
- Work with Corporate Technology to build out scalable Azure (and potentially AWS) cloud deployment environments for FIT applications
- Work with Corporate Technology to extend and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS/MS in computer science or engineering or hard science
- Minimum 5 years of professional cloud devops and architecture experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and program scalable web-based architectures, not simple scripts
- Full lifecycle experience automating deployment and maintenance of a clustered, relational (or NoSQL) database-backed web application
- Hands-on, in-house engineering (product development) automation background, not IT or consulting
