Remote Financial or Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A health insurance technology and services company is in need of a Remote Financial or Actuarial Analyst.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting sales team in stop loss process
• Managing competing priorities
• Assisting benefit advisors/brokers and employers with plan design

Qualifications Include:

• Knowledge of health care, preferably in the context of claims, reimbursement and risks
• Systems-thinking - the ability to see the limitations of and implications beyond the data analysis
• Sophisticated skills with analytical, spreadsheet and database tools - Excel, Tableau, SPSS etc
• Ability to prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in healthcare or health insurance
