Job Summary

A financial institution has a current position open for a Remote Financial Platform Senior Data Engineer in Johnston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Developing and maintaining Enterprise Data warehouse system using ETL tools such as Data Stage, Talend and more
Creating and updating scripts in UNIX/Linux shell and python to meet the business requirements
Participating in mapping sessions to understand business requirements

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, or equivalent
At least 5 Years of experience in ETL design and development utilizing Talend or IBM DataStage or other similar
Experience with SDLC and Agile Methodologies along with SQL skills
Experience with configuration management using Subversion
Expertise in AWS technologies
Excellent scripting skills across Unix/Linux scripts using k-shell and python
