Job Summary

A financial institution has a current position open for a Remote Financial Platform Senior Data Engineer in Johnston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and maintaining Enterprise Data warehouse system using ETL tools such as Data Stage, Talend and more
  • Creating and updating scripts in UNIX/Linux shell and python to meet the business requirements
  • Participating in mapping sessions to understand business requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 5 Years of experience in ETL design and development utilizing Talend or IBM DataStage or other similar
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile Methodologies along with SQL skills
  • Experience with configuration management using Subversion
  • Expertise in AWS technologies
  • Excellent scripting skills across Unix/Linux scripts using k-shell and python
