Remote Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

A life insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Financial Reporting Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries related to universal life and annuity products
• Assist with ongoing process improvements related to universal life product journal entries
• Utilize knowledge of the UL journal entry process to assist in development of comparable processes

Qualifications Include:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s  in accounting or related field, or 5 or more years of applicable experience
• Thorough experience working in Microsoft Excel
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify, understand and make accurate evaluations and/or corrections for unusual fluctuations
• Ability to meet critical deadlines
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
