Job Summary

An insurance agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Design automated financial reporting tools, including real time financial reporting
• Produce and issue monthly internal financial statement packages and supporting exhibits
• Complete quarterly bank covenant calculations

Required Skills:

• Thorough understanding of GAAP and STAT, policies and controls
• Experience working directly with the senior leadership team outside of corporate finance
• Minimum 15+ years of experience, including experience in a public accounting firm preferably to a manager level
• Certified Public Accountant, Certified Public Accountant candidate or Masters' degree in a business-related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with expert level Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to convey complex information
