Remote Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary

A startup development company has an open position for a Remote Financial Reporting Manager.

Must be able to:

• Build our functional capabilities in one of the most exciting and innovative emerging technology areas in blockchain
• Play a key role in crafting the overall strategy to optimize the business and create value, while also protecting the organization and building best in class risk management processes across our global operations
• Prepare the Company’s consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, as well as management reporting packages to drive strategic insight into the business

Required Skills:

• Proven strong knowledge in financial reporting procedures, with an understanding of SEC and other federal and local laws and regulations and company policies
• Corporate and public accounting experience, CPA - with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated differentiated background and technical understanding of IFRS and complex accounting standards
• Extensive experience working with external financial statement auditors to ensure timely completion of financial statement audits
• Experience in scaling the financial reporting function of an organization through hyper-growth from start-up to an established multinational entity with global business operations
• Proven knowledge of Netsuite, Xero and/or system implementation processes would be a strong asset
