Remote Financial Research Associate Assistant Director

Job Summary

A financial services company is in need of a Remote Financial Research Associate Assistant Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop credit risk and emerge risk models for public and private companies across the global
• Develop and apply a variety of quant modeling and data science skills
• Collaborate with financial researchers and data analysts on research projects

Qualifications Include:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in finance, economics, mathematical finance, computational finance, financial engineering, data science, industrial engineering and operations research, statistics or a closely related field
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Expert level proficiency with statistical analysis and/or programming languages such as R and/or Python
• Ability to clearly communicate with different audiences
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• Knowledge or willingness to learn concepts of quantitative methods in finance
