Job Summary
A financial technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Financial Technology Platform Software Engineer II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Writing code with a team of engineers to build services and libraries that other teams rely upon
- Taking part in a pair-first programming environment that recognizes the value of fast feedback between engineers
- Focusing on metrics as a way of understanding the experiences that teams are having and to guide you in your work
Position Requirements Include:
- 2+ years of experience working as a software engineer
- Worked with engineering teams in the past to implement shared services and libraries for them
- Experience with microservice-based architectures, including service-to-service authentication, well-designed RESTful APIs, and JSON-based data structures
- Experience with at least one of Clojure and Ruby
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- A keen interest in improving developer experience through reliable services, tools, and low feedback times when using them.
