Job Summary

A mortgage banker is seeking a Remote Financial Underwriter II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating and analyzing all loan packages to ensure investment quality loan product
• Checking accuracy of all calculations and analyzing income
• Maintaining accuracy and competency in utilizing the Company’s system of record for automated underwriting of loan files

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma
• A minimum of 5-10 years experience as an Underwriter
• 7-10 years of experience with DE and VA/LAPP preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Current knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations
• Knowledge of mortgage underwriting
