Job Summary
A management consulting company is in need of a Remote Firmware or Embedded Software Engineer in San Diego.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing, enhancing and debugging new and existing real-time firmware
- Driving firmware development for performance, safety, scalability, and modularity
- Implementing continuous improvements and best practices within the team
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or proof of exceptional skills in related fields
- Capable of delivering top quality C and C++ code in a real time embedded environment
- Capable of designing the firmware with Object Oriented Design concept
- Strong knowledge in software fundamentals
- Having significant multithreaded and RTOS experience
- Experience with device drivers, bootloader, and secure boot
