Job Summary
A social media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote First Party Studios Technical Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing technical due diligence for new teams, middleware, and outsourcing services
- Assisting integration of new first party studios to Oculus and manage the migration of technologies where required or appropriate
- Providing mentorship and coaching for engineers at studios
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience with AAA game development
- At least 10 years of technical leadership experience in the games industry on console or PC
- Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
- Experience developing with Unreal or custom game engines
