Job Summary
A company serving premium coffee is filling a position for a Remote First Response Senior Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Planning and managing syndicated content operations
- Curating and scheduling existing content for recirculation
- Writing timely articles on a daily basis that are relevant to the military, veteran, and first responder communities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
- 5 years of experience working with digital content and/or social media strategy
- An experienced journalist that is comfortable producing daily content with the portfolio to prove it
- An experienced editor that is comfortable with AP style guidelines with the portfolio to prove it
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets, MS Word, MS Excel, WordPress, and Google Analytics
