Job Summary
A customized foodservice supply chain company has an open position for a Remote Foodservice Category Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Negotiating all pricing components including raw materials, formula components, and freight for contract renewals and agreements to maximize cost savings and cost containment efforts
- Developing and maintaining a category strategy to meet short-term and long-term objectives for the category, client, and organization
- Understanding and staying up to date with commodity markets and market news
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3 - 4 years category experience required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Foodservice, manufacture, or retail experience preferred
- Experience working with restaurant chains
- Experience presenting and interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders at levels
- Experience working in a multi-channel matrix environment
