Job Summary

A non-profit that promotes educational equality is seeking a Remote Foundation Relations Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Playing a key role in securing roughly $10M per year in funding from philanthropic foundations
• Managing complex and highly-detailed project plans
• Thinking strategically about how to reach and effectively communicate with a wide audience

Required Skills:

• 5 to 7 years’ experience in grant development, including writing/managing grants, and related
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-moving, evolving, multi-site organization
• Experience in technology platforms related to fundraising with foundations (Fluxx and others)
• Demonstrated ability to write in a compelling manner
• Have a passionate commitment to and a sense of urgency for the support of schools
• Have a track record of successfully building and stewarding relationships with funders
