Job Summary

An IT and computer services company has a current position open for a Remote Front End CSS Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc
  • Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications
  • Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5 years of CSS / design experience
  • Full mastery of CSS, know when to use grids vs flex-box vs floats, and have a deep appreciation for CSS variables
  • Experience building themes and templates for other platforms and know how to work within their constraints
  • Can take any HTML on a page, go to town on it, and make it look completely different just using CSS
  • Understand the fine line between design and decoration and how to push back against it
  • Can look at a mockup and turn it into a living web page that is responsive, semantic, and accessible
